It's been a long time!

Hello!
I can't believe it's been a year since I posted anything on my blog!  I've been busy busy busy!  So who hasn't right?  Enough whining!

I wanted to share some pics of a couple of mini albums that I created this past weekend!  The first is one of my typical envelope mini albums with lots of envelopes, tags, flowers, lace and other goodies.  The second is a pocket mini album inspired by Marla at Lake Avenue Designs.

This was super quick and super easy to make.  Each page is made out of just one sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock.

Ahhhh.....Spring!

Happy Spring!!! I don't know about you...but we here in the North East have been waiting for some warm, dry weather! It's finally here!! 70 degrees!! At least for today...who knows what tomorrow will be like.

This nice weather has inspired me to clean up my scrap space (aka..my dining room). I recycled all of the old scrap papers and the sets of stickers/chipboard with only one or two left on the sheet. Before I knew it, I had an entire garbage bag full of stuff. Now I have lots of space on my desk...I'm sure I won't be able to find anything. But it looks nice :o)

Once Upon a Springtime Canvas Project

So, I'm taking a Graphic 45 class at My Creative Classroom. The class is called Projects in Bloom. This week's project is a canvas using G45's Once Upon a Springtime Collection. CRAFTY KIDS!

So, we were babysitting my younger sister's kids this past weekend while she recovered from surgery. The boys decided they wanted to make a get well card for their Mom. Here's a photo of their creations! The kids are so crafty! They take after their "Favorite Aunt"! LOL!

OMG!!! I just received these a couple of days ago! Love Love Love them!! Have you tried these yet? I use alot of distress inks and glimmer mist. These are so easy to use and make distressing/aging your papers a snap! Let me know what you think!

I'm still here!!!

Hi Everyone!  It's been quite a while since my last posting.  Wow, I have been so super busy... What have I been up to you ask?  Well....with the help of my sister, I had to get ready for 2 huge craft shows over the Holidays! The shows were fantastic!  It was so much fun meeting all of the customers and sharing our creations!  My Scrap Desk was so well received...I was really happy!  Then of course we had the holidays.  Then we took a much needed break. 

But I'm excited to be back and so inspired by the beautiful spring colors and papers etc!  I've been working on some new mini albums.  Here's a sneak peak of a couple of them.  I will be recording a YouTube video of  these mini's shortly...I'll let you know when the videos are up.  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
